My friend Jill Lawrence wrote this - it’s a great read on one area where my homestate is quite behind the times.
So as Dave Weigel at Slate and others have noted, Sarah Palin’s communications consultant Rebecca Mansour went off on a tangent Monday night, tweeting accusations at mainstream (oh, wait, that’s lamestream) media outlets that they failed to cover Palin’s speech in Madison, Wis., on Saturday.
Mansour had to backtrack a couple of times and acknowledge that CNN did, in fact, cover the talk, and that an ABC reporter she accused was, well, based in Australia.
Seems ironic they’re virtually begging for attention, after bashing the media for so long. Here’s Mansour’s spin, tweeted to a fellow supporter:
In a way I actually like it when they ignore her because I like it when they under-estimate her. Makes victory more fun.
Here’s a post i did at the late, great Woman UP section of PoliticsDaily.com, just a couple of months ago. Still relevant, especially today.
Or, OK GO, i’m on Tumblr. what next. guess i need a better background and such.
